MICHAEL B. SILVER

Born and raised in NYC, Michael B. Silver is a Brown University graduate with over three decades of experience as a writer, director, and actor, appearing in more than 250 film, television, and theater projects. As a filmmaker, he’s directed five award-winning shorts and co-wrote, co-directed, produced, and starred in the feature Love Shack. His writing credits include The Ropes, Medical Investigation, and James Patterson’s Method, while his directing credits span many hours of tv including Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce, The Gigolo, and a GLAAD Award-winning episode of Royal Pains. Michael recently wrote, produced, and starred in the scripted podcast Mr. Buchman Goes to Washington (Voyage Media) about his Grandfather and is currently directing his forth Audible/James Patterson Original Thriller, The Chamber, set for release in June. As an acting coach, teacher and director at SRS Studios for over 20 years, he continues to teach and mentor actors worldwide. As an actor, Michael’s credits include five seasons on CSI: Miami, ten seasons on ER, nine seasons on NYPD Blue, and recent roles on American Horror Stories, Shameless, Fear the Walking Dead, Young Rock, Suits and FBI: Most Wanted. He’s currently filming the indie horror film, The Boat. Michael comes from a lineage of filmmakers including his grandfather, Oscar-winning screenwriter Sidney Buchman (Mr Smith Goes to Washington), and his sister Amanda Silver, and brother in Law Rick Jaffa (Jurassic World, Planet of the Apes and Avatar).
